Claire Fox

Senior Lecturer in Criminology, School of Law, Humanities

Claire's submission demonstrated her enthusiasm for ‘raising the profile of excellence’ and ‘developing excellence’ though her national activities and her commitment to self-development which included peer review and self-reflection.

Claire showed that she brings a level of authenticity in her teaching approach, for example in bringing ‘real life’ practical themes into learning activities. Her submission illustrated how she had embraced challenges and tried innovative new ways to provide an excellent student experience. Of particular note was her work with the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resources Centre which was commended by the panel.

Claire unfortunately could not be at the awards ceremony but a photo will be added here showing her receiving her award in due course.
