Ann Wakefield, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work
For her exceptional work establishing the University of Manchester/ Singapore nurse education link, and in developing a consistent and effective approach to education management across the School to ensure that all students have an equitable experience.
- Philip Keeley, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work
For his leadership in the School, especially the development and implementation of new curricula; his work on patient and service user education – translating University teaching into the community; and his commitment to rewarding and recognising excellence in others.
- Veronique Pin-Fat, School of Social Sciences
For her consistent innovation across all levels of study; her commitment to the development of colleagues through her leadership of the Humanities New Academics Programme pathway and her long standing service to University initiatives including the development of the Manchester Matrix.
- Patrick Gaydecki, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
For his innovative outreach work in the local community; his wider public engagement activity; and most specifically based on the extremely strong student support for his nomination.
- Anil Day, Faculty of Life Sciences
For his work developing the highly innovative MSc in Biotechnology and Enterprise working with colleagues from across the University to deliver an excellent and highly relevant programme to a diverse student cohort.
- Rising Star: Rossmary Villegas, School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science
For her work developing strong industry links and in leading significant change with Petroleum Engineering to substantially improve the student experience.
- Rising Star: Anna Goatman, Manchester Business School
For her use of creative media in teaching, her development of support for graduate teaching assistants, and her significant School and Faculty impact after only 3 years of teaching.
